Meta signs multiyear deal for millions of Nvidia Grace and Vera CPUs and Blackwell GPUs

Meta struck a multiyear deal to deploy millions of Nvidia processors including Grace CPUs, Vera CPUs, and Blackwell and Rubin GPUs across its data centers. Nvidia called it the first large-scale Grace-only deployment, delivering significant performance-per-watt improvements. Vera CPUs will arrive in Meta's data centers in 2027. The deal comes as Meta's in-house chip efforts face technical challenges and rollout delays. Combined AI spending from Meta, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon this year is estimated to exceed the cost of the entire Apollo space program.
