Qodo 2.1 adds intelligent rules system to give coding agents persistent memory
AI code review startup Qodo launched version 2.1 with what it calls the first intelligent Rules System for AI governance. The system automatically generates rules from actual code patterns and past review decisions, replacing static markdown context files with a persistent organizational memory.
Qodo claims the system delivers an 11% precision boost for coding agents. CEO Itamar Friedman compared current coding tools to the film Memento, arguing that agents that wake up from scratch each session can't maintain engineering standards at enterprise scale.
