Fei-Fei Li's World Labs raises $1B for spatial intelligence

World Labs, the AI startup from AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li, raised $1B in new funding from backers including Autodesk ($200M alone), Andreessen Horowitz, Nvidia, and AMD. The company builds world models that understand 3D environments and make decisions within them. World Labs launched its first product Marble last November, generating editable 3D environments from images or text. The new funding will expand into robotics and science applications. The startup's valuation is reportedly around $5B, up from $1B at its 2024 debut.
