YouTube brings conversational AI assistant to smart TVs

YouTube expanded its conversational AI tool to smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming devices. Users can click an "Ask" button to summon the AI assistant, which offers suggested questions or accepts voice queries about the video being watched. The feature supports English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean for users over 18. The expansion comes as YouTube accounts for 12.4% of total TV audience time in the US, surpassing Disney and Netflix.
