Google adds automated workflow agents to its vibe-coding app Opal

Google introduced a new agent in its Opal vibe-coding platform that creates mini-apps for planning and executing tasks via text prompts. The feature uses Gemini 3 Flash and can maintain state across sessions using Google Sheets. The update extends Opal's capabilities beyond app creation into automated workflows. The agent is natively interactive, asking users for input or offering choices when needed. Opal has expanded to 15+ countries since its July 2025 launch.
