Cloudflare open-sources Cloudflare OS, its internal vibe-coding platform for non-engineers
Cloudflare released Cloudflare OS on GitHub, the internal workspace it spent months building so employees who are not developers could describe workflows in natural language and have an AI agent turn them into apps. The company says thousands of employees use it daily to create documents and slides, automate repeatable tasks, and build small data-visualization apps.
The pitch is the sandbox, not the agent. "This is a full-on personal app vibe coding platform, in which the sandbox is so secure that you can pretty much go wild, the AI cannot introduce a significant security bug," Cloudflare's principal engineer said. Cloudflare frames it as letting security teams greenlight non-technical vibe coding without inheriting a breach risk.
