AI data center company Firmus closed a $2 billion funding round backed by Coatue Management, Nvidia, Blackstone vehicles, and Jane Street.
The investor mix is telling: a crossover fund, the chip supplier, a private-credit giant, and a quant trading firm all underwriting the same capacity buildout. Nvidia's participation continues its pattern of financing the customers who buy its GPUs.
